Red Velvet are FINE. Just remember, in a couple of years aespa will be just like them, and then people will say "Why does nobody care for Aespa's comeback". I am still onto you. Don't think I'm not.

this kpop thing is just a cycle. The groups that were popping when i got into kpop now it feels like they are barely known. it is crazy to think we will see the same happen to 3rd gen soon. I am already seeing people say they have never heard an EXO song.

They will sure have a lot of hype in korea but not so much internationally by kpop fans

If it’s a velvet track and not experimental they will do exceedingly well. They have the ability to quite easily outpace aespa and the rest of SM internationally

Queendom was their highest selling album of all time and the tt did well on MelOn, I think (I don't follow RV charts but IIRC, it may not have hit some of their past highs but still did strongly. Queendom wasn't a flop..) All of this after what could have been a career-ending injury AND a scandal. And people on akp said there was no hype on that one either before it dropped.

RV will be just fine.

(FWIW, my Twt timeline is constantly popping with it, so I suppose it just all depends on where you are, what you follow..)
