Which title do you prefer? 2NE1's I Am The Best or Girls' Generation's Genie

I wish it didn't have the cringey English lines, but genie is close to a perfect pop song, it's stuck in my head all the time even though it's more than a decade old.

It's still the most watched music show perf ever. 8 million watched it air live. That's crazy.

It sounds European because the original is Scandinavian creators DSign and bought by SM who mixed it for SNSD. DSign also made IGAB.

Both are legendary, but Genie edges it. It's still the most well rounded SNSD single - great choreo, great vocals, emotional rollercoaster, it has everything.

It's basically in the history pages of kpop.

A tough one as I like both songs.

I was never much a fan of SNSD so I never got into Genie.

So my vote goes for I Am The Best.

I Am The Best is definitely a product of its time and does sound dated.
