2NE1, Blackpink smashed at debut so I think YG is hoping for the same for Baemon. Baemon is said to be coming soon, but we have a lot of groups coming this year: 3 girl groups from Hybe and Nmixx, not to mention Aespa/Ive/Itzy will also keep people busy with their comebacks. Is it better for YG to wait until next year for less competition and surprise the industry with their group with 10 Jennies?

Baemon are not debuting until the end of 4th gen, it seems. Not one word is heard about this group so I like to think they do not exist. Not even one video by YG, nothing, nada, it seems YG just doesn't want money, I think right now is a bad time to debut a new girl group, but at least give us a teaser? or confirmation a new girl group is coming!

I've been hearing about Baemon since i literally started lurking here. Almost 3 years now. This group is a figment of our community imagination at this point, a lot like Hybe's GGs which i remember hearing about back in 2019 ffs. Only JYP and SM actually followed through on all the rumors with NMIXX and Aespa.

ealiest i can see it hapening is october this year, but if bp coming back after the summer is true they should wait until early 2023 so when bp is on tour, they can shine. i'd rather have them score the 2023 roty than deal with 2022 competition (ive, kep1er, nmixx, iland2, adorngg, possible sourcegg or even mldgg)
