I thought we were all equal.
Or did they finally realize that men are men and women are women and we all play a different role in life?
Just curious.

There are heavy discussions even in my country and the consensus is against a forced conscription of men. It might not be as obvious as other topics since the main priority in media are currently things related to the war itself (e.g military help, heling refugees etc.)
It's even funnier how many liberal gun control advocates in the USA suddenly want to send massive amounts of arms and ammunition to Ukrainian civilians.
money
I agree, no men should be forced to fight if they're not willing to
Unfortunately Ukraine likely can't afford to have a volunteer army -- Russia, despite its terrible advance, is still a world power. That being said there are 16K foreign fighters and rising volunteering for the fight for Ukraine.

"defense of the free world" and all that. I don't blame them but the hypocrisy is not lost on me haha. I suppose things change when the area is a warzone.

See you make good points sometimes, but then ruin the valid point by making inflammatory comments.
women should be learning to defend themselves atleast.
the soldiers are gonna attack them too.
The question should be why not more outcry about people being forced to join war ?
cause that's how any war works, if military doesn't have the necessary numbers, conscription is the next step. It hasn't been used in a long long time but my country has the same system in place and so do most countries I know. Even the ones who officially abolished it usually have a clause that it can be used if necessary. For us that was WW2, at the end of that even kids younger than 16 got drafted cause they were running out of soldiers.
Too bad the users who always scream how all men are priviledged won't come to this thread.
Where is the priviledge now ?
At the end of the day life sucks for everyone , we don't have to make it more misarable with neverending fights about who has it easier
And don't get me wrong I'm also a woman and I know hot it feels to be hurt by men but at the same time I try not to put half of the poulation in the same sack because nothing good ever comes from a mindset like this
