I also thought they'd either all stay or all leave. With part of them staying though the disbandment isn't surprising. I feel like it's probably harder to stay together when the original company is involved. Unless you parted super amicably, there's always gonna some kind of grudge.

Just because they disband it doesn’t mean that he gonna disappear. Let’s hope he gonna do solo or be in tv shows. I watched him in that M…something YouTube show and he was really funny.
Yeah, i hope to see them doing solo activities or jr doing some more acting, etc. definitely gonna keep my eyes out for their future activities

While I'm sad that NU'EST is disbanding, I can't say that I am surprised by the news. They have been in the industry for 10 years. A lot can happen within the 3-year extension and not many groups make it to the 10 year mark (there are exceptions). I can say that maybe Aron, JR, and Ren want to pursue solo activities, but Pledis may not be the best choice for them.
But at least they are ending their career on a good note and releasing one final album.
I hope to still see them all be it in solo works or acting
