  • Oh my goodness, that's so sweet of them!!! 🥺🥺🥺

I'm going to be so sad during their US tour...because I live in the US (not anywhere near where they'll be visiting) but I can't go.

    (1) I have school and in order to go, I'd have to miss a few days and my parents think school is one of the most important things in my life (2) I don't have the money for plane tickets, concert tickets, hotel room, food, rental car, gas, and anything else I might need to pay for. (3) I don't even have a valid driver's license yet...etc. (4) I'm probably not old enough to go alone probably according to my parents (I mean, this could be possible or I'd have to bring a willing adult with me)

So in order for me to go to a Twice concert in the US, I would need my driver's license and be a good driver for driving in the city, I would need parent permission and someone to go with me or be out of my parents' house, I would need an excuse to skip school (because that would literally be what I would be doing) and I would need the money to pay for it all

  • Yeah, that's a lot.

I remember, I went to Twice's Chicago concert in 2019, and I know I spent $800+ on travel, hotel stay, and food.

My mom also came with, and ran out of money, so I ended up having to pay her share of some things too lol.

Without her, I probably would have paid about $200 or $300 less. But that's with me taking a train instead of a plane and getting a cheap (almost sketchy hotel) lmao (though other Once were actually staying there too). And I had cheapy concert seats too.

But no worries. I'm sure you'll get another chance to see Twice. Maybe by then you will be in college or something with a job and able to go with friends.

I feel you mate. Wish I was in the US right now.

But I swear I will see the girls live, even if it means traveling to SK or JPN.

  • Aww, that's cool! That does seem pretty expensive... 8|

Yep, that's what I'm hoping. Me being in college with enough money would be the best-case scenario for me in this situation. Hopefully, they don't have another American world tour in the next 1.5 years (about) ^^

Oh nooo that's the worst... :waterr:

Like a lot of parents think school is a child's most important thing, which is sort of true. But I also feel that it's not fair for parents to enforce it so much to where it stresses the child out/pressures them too much or to where they aren't able to enjoy themselves.

yeah, both of my parents take school way to seriously. my mother takes away my phone every night (she just took away my headphones) thinking i'll do better, and she wonders why I said I didn't her (and my dad) and didn't want to have children or take care of her when I'm older. I think i'll do good though, i'm currently re-doing the study guide so fingers crossed.
