It would be interesting if they manage to be a massive hit, above and beyond the nostalgia.

They are already legendary as an act which has been dominant in pre-digital era of 2000s, and again in early 2010s-2015 was the peak.

Will they have a third phase of such massive success?

It has to be massive and sustained, because the first release anyway ought to succeed due to sheer nostalgia/fan power.

No other act has achieved the third time mainstream success. Bigbang is already the only group to have done it twice, maybe Epik High. Others are mostly soloists - IU, Psy, Taeyeon, Hyori all reinvented to have a second successful careers. But three times, that too as a group.. would be unprecedented.

T-ara, 2 AM, 2 PM all have done comebacks, was ok, nothing shattering. SNSD keep tempting, has not happened yet.

Special projects like SSAK, MSG, GOT etc., are different things anyways.
