Txt/Enhypen fans, do you want Hybe to let them self-produce like Trainee A?

  • I think Txt/Enhypen members say that they like to self-produce, but why don’t Hybe let them release their self-produced songs but allow Trainee A to? Yeonjun could do something like Woochan here to show all his rapping abilities since he doesn’t rap in Txt much.

  • idk, as long as i like their music i guess.

i haven't really seen what they're capable of, like I've seen with other groups so its hard to say or want something at all.

  • Beomgyu and Hueningkai already produced 2 of TXT's best songs which are Queen Maze in The Mirror and Queen Dear Sputnik + MITM was written by the members. There is an unreleased song called Sweat which is also written by the members. TXT already had a lot of credits in their discography, and it always increase in every comeback. I think they even will get more credits in the next album and soon they can make their self-produced album. I think Beomgyu and Hueningkai are like the dark horse to become the team's producer. I'm really anticipating TXT's growth in term of songwriting and producing cuz they look promising in that area.

  • TXT participated in composing/writing Roller Coaster, Fairy of Shampoo, Maze in the Mirror, Ghosting, Wishlist, Way Home, Ice Cream, Balance Game, No Rules, Dear Sputnik, Frost, MOA Diary, Sweat, Sweet Dreams.

Beomgyu produced Maze in the Mirror, Huening Kai produced Dear Sputnik.

Yeonjun writes his rap parts in TXT songs. Also recently, in ENHYPEN song Blockbuster, he showed his abilities. TXT isn’t hip-hop group or group that includes rap in every single song. They only rap if it fits the song and yes, that doesn’t allow him to showcase his full potential. If they ever do hip-hop song, he will.

Their credits and artistic input has gradually increased over the time. The most important thing is that they have passion for making music and are actually working hard on it even if their creation doesn’t end up chosen.

Releasing solo songs or mixtapes is up to individuals. BigHit does not have creative control over them, members do. They have to come up with entire theme, concept, write and produce it themselves. It’s also time consuming especially when your schedule is packed. With TXT taking initiative to do more individual activities recently, I can see it happening in the future and it is not crime if they don’t. It’s up to them and they have the right to release mixtapes when they feel ready for it.

On the other hand, Trainee A seems to be hip-hop based group or that’s what they are aiming for, it makes sense to prove their rap skills and uh, authenticity with solo songs.

Also please stop putting your words into TXT mouths. They have never said anything like that, but I guess it’s fun to instigate fanwar based on your imagination.

  • best answer imo :pleading:

  • Self written music doesn't equal good music.

I would like the music of my faves to be as great as it's been until now. If what they've made isn't considered good enough to be released then I rather wait for a nicely created self song than rush and get a poor piece

    This.

I love the music they put out so far. The company don’t hold them back, in Txt case, they said that they were writing melodies and lyrics for a while but other peoples melodies and lyrics were chosen over some of them and to be honest i like that they would rather put out something great that something that’s still lacking. The boys learning about the progress and it shows because last album they had more credits then ever before. Soobin for Icecream, Hyuka produced Dear Sputnik, Yeonjun did Frost, etc.

Not everyone have same level of skills, the boys didn’t debuted as self produced group and that’s ok, but they were interested to learn more about the production side (I don’t know how to say this correctly) and from what I see the company guides them well.

  • So weird. After this thread I’m going on twitter and this is what I see.
