Shipping kpop idols with their members is weird

i hate it so much. i can't search for my bias without seeing people ship him with his members. makes me so maddddddddddddddddd

It is not weird, it is disgusting...

Just imagine if you are a boy, an outsider is shipping you romantically with your brother.

If you are a girl, an outsider is shipping you romantically with your sister.

People need to calm down & stop making assumption about someone else's romantic life. You are here for music not a priest or fortune teller.

I hate shippers as a whole

i don't see what's wrong with thinking "these two people would be cute together" or "they have a cute friendship and i like seeing them together" bc thats the base of what shipping is. the degree of how far people go with it is a different story. but as long as people don't think ship are real and don't force it on others, its relatively harmless.

It's weird indeed but most idols know how common shipping is in kpop world so I think they come mentally prepared regarding it

i mean, i agree but at the same time i like some ships, more like bromance. johnny and ten from nct are extremely cute together but i dont imagine them doing anything dirty like lots of stans do, they seem like great friends : D

Not just groups, any kind of shipping is weird cause relationships are meant to be personal, it's no one's business

That being said i can understand when kpop stans like a ship just because they like their dynamic as a duo, not as a romantic couple or anything else

Its not cringe because their companies are actively pushing it and members probably purposely do things to increase skipping talk etc.

Its a part of kpop and idols are aware of that (if not taught about it by the company while trainees).
