Jamie (Park Jimin) revealed that ex-Day6 member Jae personally came to apologize to her and they're friends again

  • Looks like they're on okay terms now :pepe-toast:

  • I'm glad he personally apologized to her. he should count his blessings she forgave him. she's a good person and he should really reflect on that. Hopefully this was a learning experience for him. I have to respect him for actually going to her face to apologize and not just saying he did. He wasn't forced by anyone to apologize either, so I'm glad he recognized his wrongs and tried to do right.

  • Hoping that history won't repeat itself.

I kinda relate tho because I'm kinda impulsive. I mostly realized my mistakes after its done. Especially the insensitive words I've said. There's no way to take those back so you have to live with it and you're reminded everytime u go to sleep.

    :danceb::wilds:

  • I know this thread will flop but I still felt like making it :smirks2:

Yup because it's not about drama or spreading a narrative. The " issue" is solved she forgave him mentioned he wasn't the type of person to actually mean what he said and everyone moved on from it and are good friends again.

Now these jokes are hit or miss I know some friends who do share vulgar jokes about each other even call each other bitch etc, but not everyone pays attention that sometimes people change and things you think would be normally acceptable to them based on passed experience isn't now. Wasn't a big deal he went out and met her face to face and apologized. People don't do a personal in person meeting to apologize if it was an empty promise.

I also don't think he was lucky she forgave him, a true friendship isn't a real friendship if words were enough to end it.

Guess all that hes a incel shit got disproved. Lol

  • Glad they managed to make up. Hopefully Jae learns from this lesson.

Also the banter in that last tweet

That banter proved to me that they're friends again ^^

I remember what a hot topic it was, and I don't want to say that users who were pissed at him had bad intentions or anything but I hope they at least saw Jamie's statements and have moved on from hating on him especially for this topic.

I believe those people do have bad intentions all they do is judge knee jerk reaction and condem people to some sort of IST or evil thing without even considering a second opinion. Even after this reconciliation between the two i doubt those people minds will change it rarely does which is why you hear about so many lawsuits in kpop because even after a rumor or some scandal is cleared up or proven wrong people still commit to believing a lie or a narrative they built up in their heads. The level of dedication to that madness is like flat earthers will literally see a round planet and still go yup that's flat alright. Literally see and feel gravity and say yup gravity doesn't exist. When you deal with people like that there's no fixing it

  • At the end they seem to be really good friends and good friends forgive each other if the apology is sincere. And her opinion matters the most here.

He did a mistake, he said things he shouldn’t have, so I hope he learned from it and won’t repeat such a behavior again.

True… if someone decided you are whatever they build up in their heads there is nothing you can do that will please them and everything you do or say has some malicious intent.

I mean just look at the people here on AKP who almost literally declared someone their enemy because of one thing they once said and didn’t agreed with.

Many treat controversies as if they are going through a moral manual, some kinda doctrine you treat as an absolute thing. No logic or rational thinking allowed, giving different perspectives ? Only if it aligns with their opinion lol.

You can correct yourself, you can admit your mistake and apologize and they will still find something to be mad about. I mean… I can speak from personal experience lol.
