Whistle was a bop! I actually liked it better than Boombayah but I still like Boombayah

If I'm not mistaken, "Whistle" was even more popular than "Boombayah" at the time.
I love it, especially the bridge.
Whistle was charting better. It was also promoted longer, kinda like the Main title track.
Just that some new fans who aren't with them since the beginning, thought that whistle was just a side track.

It's a decent song but BBY is literally the best song in Kpop (although Ugly by 2NE1 is really moving up and could even topple it soon). BBY is a masterpiece, a perfect pop song. Whistle just cant compare to it, it's nowhere near as popular as BBY, and i think the only people that really like it are hipster Blinks who hate what's mainstream popular like KTL and D4 and go for the edgy underdog song lol.
I like Hip-Pop and "Whistle" is clearly that! I think listeners eventually evolve past only focusing on the current single/title-track and cover all the bases of listening to both old and new tracks.
