America has a longgggg history of oppression, from the genocide of Powhatan tribes to the bombing of Muslims. pretty much every country is fucked up. I get why some people might be mad over some idols saying they want to travel to Israel or any other fucked up country (could never be me 
) but do you really think they support war and killing? Like maybe they just like the scenery or whatever, I'd never say that cause I know how bad a lot of countries are, but I guess idols don't really give a crap or don't care to take a history lesson. I don't really see it as offensive, just lack of education.
Celebrities always wrap themselves with my country's flag when they come here and everyone thinks it's cute. I guess it depends on the country.

Not everybody keeps up with news around the world, I sure know I don't really keep up with what's happening outside of America and Canada. It is stupid to say that you want to visit Israel and idk if that Ikon member knows what's happening in Israel right now but we can't expect everyone to constantly keep up with everything going on in other countries. I also heard what he said was a mistranslation so he might of not even said that.
Depends where you live. I doubt countries in middle east aka the bombing range for example would be happy over waving the American flag.
Though same can be said about almost any flag in another country. For example in UK the English flag can be sus. If it's flying during a international sports tournament then it's ok but if there's no event then well that person is likely a racist lmao. The British flag is fine though

the mistranslation was that he didn’t say “for the politics” but “for the atmosphere” and tbh this really has been EVERYWHERE… even if you don’t keep up you know Palestine come on

If it’s a country where they don’t even have human rights within their vocabulary and they are currently in hot waters for committing serious crimes….that would be a different case.
