Whatsmore, they are still in a period where the other newer members need as much push as they can get. So far, only Leesoo's been pushed a little but Rei and Gaeul for instance.

Even though this isn't her fault, there are already so many people searching for things to hate about Wonyoung, the least Starship could do is not give them ammo.

On the contrary, I think that was a great and strategically well done ensemble. Unlike here, all the members had actually stood out, even if Wonyoung had stood out the most there, it didn't overshadow anyone. Since it was a newly debuted group with mostly unknown members, it made sense to highlight the most popular member to the public in order to grab attention for the whole group.

The issue is now, IVE has already gotten a lot of that attention and that strategy is no longer necessary and is more likely to hinder than help future development of the group. Plus, they executed the strategy far worse than they originally did with the pink dress.

Maybe Starship is just using caution, but they should have some more faith in the other members to capture attention

I mean, it could be just a PR move, just like Yujin‘s outfit controversy, but I don’t think this should be done on the members‘ expense. They deserve better.

it’s fine to dress WY all white but they should’ve given another member mostly white + some black pieces , then 50% , and one full black . it would’ve been much better and harmonious to make everyone b&w

starship makes me mad. if they wanted wonyoung solo, they should've debuted her solo. they shouldn't make her stand out within a group where she already was super popular. it's just not fair.
