Denmark is hard hit by Omikron. And tests 7 times more people than the US

You need a booster against the Omikron.

The symptoms are the same but the virus itself will cause you less damage.

Everyone in my extended family is vaccinated now - even kids.

all omicron confirmed cases are either those who traveled far, airplane personel, truck drivers who rode from Poland to Spain or something like that...

I got the booster just now - 4 months after the second. They are really pushing them out now.

Inshallah (lack of better word) I didn’t have it yet and try to optimize my health every day - running, healthy food, not too much alcohol. I get tested all the time and especially before parties.

My parents had it and they just had fluish symptoms but they are overall healthy and slim.

The worst I’ve heard is the US where it’s mostly affecting Latinos and coloured. Not asians or caucasians to the same degree.

I have to go to London sometime soon and I’m scared for the situation there👀🥺….

Anyways I’m white from a rich country - I have no problems😊

It’s not what the virus does to you but what it does to older people etc.

It’s spreading so fast which can then affect the number of hospital beds and there is already a halt in general operations to make room for covid patients.

So the problem is what it does to society if it multiplies every day. Worst case you can’t have a non threatening disease operation until next summer/winter - now that is the real problem.

I suspect governments around the world think it’s better not knowing and let people die or only people with a private insurance be admitted to hospitals.

So the virus is not worse - it just spreads like crazy.
