but you can be a normal kpop stan like me 
and be fine with criticizing your faves which most people in your fandom will disagree with
for example, females (since most kpop fans are females) will defend their bias to the end whether if they cheated on someone, blah blah blah, etc.

EDIT 1: Also, back in 2014, famous and legendary singer Taeyeon apologized to a fan repeatedly at a airport cause of her "dating scandal" with another famous singer, Baekhyun.
As a normal human being, I find it crazy how someone needs to apologized for dating all cause it can ruin your career, I hope Taeyeon is in a better place, korean fans (and i-fans) are crazy but it's okay to become a kpop fan/stan.
