Lmao, like I love akon (he was huge in here in the early 2000's) but maybe in this song in specific, he didn't fit well, idk, if it was pitbull, maybe it would end up sounding better
I think he did fit well but even just WG could featuring him is an achievement imo

Oh yeahh I was gonna put highway to heaven in the list but it slipped my brain while I was typing. RBB is such a fun song to sing as well the fact that they made an English version is so perfect. Admit it or not SM entertainment's English versions never dissapoint.
Generally speaking but the majority of the English lyrics to Make A Wish are beyond ridiculous (even with the urban dictionary definitions in mind.) I do realllllllly like the way Jaehyun sounds in English on this song though during his opening portion.
:suggestiver:

I want them to personally explain the meaning behind "I like my donuts with jam in the middle".

If I'm being honest, twice and itzy's English versions really suck. the lines just don't sound right because they're not playing around with the words like stray kids, day6, and got7 do.
About Itzy's, the English lyrics sound a few notches above what the duo who produced and wrote Rebecca Black's "Friday"; that isn't flattering. The songs could have still used some tweaks to get them right.
For the songwriters, it is important to know that less syllables usually work better. Of course, there are exceptions. The Itzy English album isn't one of them. Day6 is probably one of the only groups still on the JYPE roster that I actually look forward to hearing more English lyrics from.
