Kpop peaked in Korea in the 1990s. It was new and fresh and saw enormous success from boy groups, girl groups, and soloists.
It was a magical time to be a youth in 1990s Korea. The G-Generation are the original kpop fans and played a huge role in helping kpop blow up first in Korea and then later in Asia.
I think it's time kpop gives the middle finger to the West and returns to its roots with its main and only focus on Korea (and I guess Japan).
Maybe if they put the K back into Kpop the magic will return and I can jump back on board with this once great music genre.
