I wonder if she was a option for Butter Remix. We know Meg had legal issues so it would make sense to look at other artists.

We kinda knew about this because she did dropped hints about it earlier.

I love Cardi but Megan smashed that remix. I prefer Megan over Cardi just for that.

I wonder if the song her daughter is preferring to is "Black Swan". Her daughter has good taste despite such young age.

Cardi has been talking about bts since 2019 iirc.. true fan methinks. But if the record was Butter Remix, i'm happy it was Megan. She did what she had to & was incredibly excited about it.

More than likely it was dynamite since she posted a voice note on twitter back in 2020 (when wap and dynamite was battling on billboard) saying that she should've been on a song but bc of scheduling issues and the fact that the song was sent to her late she couldn't be on it.

like others in this thread said, if she was considered for the remix i'm glad we ended up with megan. she did a really good job and fit them perfectly. i love the remix, i listen to it all the time and i'm really excited for ama's!

i mean, i feel like it fits into the kpop stereotype of BGs being for young girls. Like her daughter is 3?? I’ve been around 3 year olds, they ain’t stanning for artistry, talent (they can’t even grasp those concepts) compared to ppl who are older.

There's videos of the kid vibing to them. It's possible to actually like music without having knowledge of anything else.

It think it's completely relevant lol... and music connects with lots of kids. Regardless of age, everyone has likes and dislikes.

It’s so crazy how you guys can be this oblivious. Both somehow recognizes the phenomenon of BTS but at the same time, lack the understanding that BTS COULD, and i mean, this might be hard for you to believe, COULD be interesting for non-stans.

Yes ppl can and do clout chase obviously but with Cardi it wasn't a random name drop so mentioning her 3 yr old daughter also likes it is more cute/sweet and less PR.
