White boys ruin hip-hop culture

  • My Favorite line in her video is that "when white kids interact with black art it's often times met with disrespect" That's so true, like tell me a non black person that doesn't says a nword in front of you or you hear someone saying it. Also I dislike this one incident where this white kid and he's friend were having a conversation and he said oh "I have black ancestors in me" As soon he said that he made me uncomfortable and disgusted 😑

The hair <X omg why would you show me that ugh :aespa38::aespa17:

Edit: ohhh I remember this woke mv....

  • Another N-word discussion? I think it won’t lead to anywhere… also I think these videos are often to generalized and one sided. Just creating new issues people should find problematic.

Anyone should enjoy the music they like… it’s like when people make fun over black people for loving Metal or Punk because it’s “white People” music…. Your skin color shouldn’t decide what music you can or can’t listen too or create.

I sometimes have the feeling that some people want a modern version of segregation…

I agree, I saw on Twitter that a poc lady was giving out masks for people but she doesn't want white people to get the masks

I think the issue is less "white boys like rap" and more "white boys consuming black music but not respecting the people who made it" someone correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't watched the video but this is an issue I've seen being discussed a lot before

Everyone can like any music they want, I don't think thats the issue

  • Current hip hop culture in USA overall is an ruined abomination

Snoop Dogg already commented on situation in 2014

and since that all that crap like Tekashi 6ix9ine happened, not even mentioning Lil Nas X

it's all done no matter of skin color, etc.

ah and one more thing which is totally stupidest thing ever when some random unknown rapper is shot then they release his post death album and it top charts because they put like 321893289 famous homies on this album.

once again I'm talking here about US scene because rap scene in Germany, Poland, France, and Italy is lit as f...

  • but most people don't call Lil Nas X a rapper tho

also what wrong with release a post death album tho, I know the corporations are shady with some post death albums like the Juice Wrld situation

Well the title of the Thread says white boys ruin Hip Hop culture, sounds to me as them living Hip Hop culture ruins the whole thing.

But if it’s really just about people being disrespectful to those whose music they consume than I agree, happens a lot…

But i think singling out just white boys even though it’s something non-black people off all kind have been a culprit off seems a bit to antagonized rather than bringing awareness to this matter as a whole.

And I’m not saying this to protect the white boys, they don’t need protection, it’s just a principle of mine, either call out everyone who engage in this behavior or leave it.

Non-black people consuming Hip Hop Culture, but are disrespectful towards black People… this would have been better!!!

  • 💯 :aespa26: So true, even though seeing white boys act like that is cringe :aespa30: We can't leave out other poc :rv23:

    Reminds me of this.

Exactly, and from my personal experience, it was more other poc‘s who also consumed Black Music who did or said some real disrespectful bs because they think they get a pass since they aren’t white… no my friend!!!

The white People I saw being disrespectful weren’t really listening to Hip Hop or black music to even begin with… they were just the typical standard racist.

    LOL… never saw this video.

But this is a sad reality out there…

Not to mention that this was also common character trope in black sitcoms. For example Carlton from Fresh Prince, he was mocked, bullied and not taking serious, even once called a sellout by his own people and all this was justified because he liked things that were considered “white”… the whole joke about Carlton was that he wasn’t “black” enough.(At least the show was fair enough to let Carlton defend himself with a strong powerful message) Which I thought was funny when I was 10-14, but getting older I realized how stupid it was.

  • I love Madisyn! She has great takes and is a free thinker. The titles of her videos often seem extreme, but they're usually just clickbait. Her takes are much more detailed and she refrains from speaking in absolutes.

    Shoutout to Eminem, though.
