I guess I'll watch it after snowdrop maybe

To surprise of no one. There's a lot of things to explore:

- mc being or not grandpa's son

- cop might be alive

- the leader's trajectory as the cop's brother to competing and winning one of the editions to joining the system

- the guy that recruit the contestants

- the competition in other countries (the white dudes said something about how korean's edition was the most entertaining that year, implying that it happens worldwide)

- gihun trying to take down everything, which might be impossible so it leads to the question how tf hes gonna do it, and that can be very interesting

Etc

idk..I really loved s1, even the ending of it, I hope they don't mess this up. I'll be looking forward to it

season 1 wasn't that great in quality so the bar is low so i don't think season 2 will fail

The ending of the series ended with a lot of question marks. I hope they clear things up in season 2.

I thought S1 was good up until the final ep with the shit twist and the cop’s useless side story. I dont think s2 will fail, it will be still be successful no matter what, but I think quality wise it likely won’t match if they repeat the same story again from scratch again. We seen with other big popular shows like prison break, 24, money heist lose steam because they kept repeating their initial base story over and over.

the plot twist wasn't much of plot twist, besides the game concept and production design it was pretty typical series to me, cop character is needed since it is related crime anyways, but yeah didn't use the cop character wisely but he prob come back in the 2nd season so they better use him wisely. I still think the story can be developed in so many interesting ways if the director is creative enough, haven't watched those western shows so idk, but at least koreans do thriller/crime best to me so my expectation is high, but it probably won't reach the success of the first season since now people have expectations, but I think it will come close, but i will be sad if it becomes mediocre
