Ready To Love is my third favorite Seventeen song

simple, ready to love was ready to SNOOZE. it was not interesting and other groups released more eye catching comebacks. It did not stand out from the crowd.

Ready to Love is also in my top SVT title tracks it's super cute

Rock With You appeals more to the general public and not just carats so that may be why it's higher?

i love ready to love so much though, the timing was just too bad but as of now i think rock with you is better, ready to love grew on me as in it got better as i listened but rock with you was great at the first listen

Bad chart performance =/= bad song.

Ready to Love is not bad at all.

The idea that bad chart performance equals a bad song is weird, I can imagine kpop fans applying this to western pop music by placing What the Fox says as an amazing song because that was a hit too I guess. Probably similar to Lovelyz Destiny the timing was bad for the comeback in this case.

The fact you seriously think the quality of a song is determined by streaming by fans is almost mechanical in nature, as if music quality isn't determined by more than charts and streams. Why would external factors such as streaming affect the quality of the song? Different songs from different gendered singers shouldn't be viewed in different standings anyways. A song can be good and unpopular or bad and popular or many other combinations of such. I'm sorry I still don't understand your reasoning.

This is a wrong assumption that fans and GP behave differently. Fans can be more dedicated but the songs they like and dislike can also align with GP. Just a broad example a general pop song will do better than say a very experimental one simply because it’s more easy on the ears doesn’t matter if it’s fans or GP, but that won’t make the experimental song bad.

Mass appeal whether it’s fandom or GP has never meant “quality” in fact one can say the opposite if something has mass appeal it’s most likely that it’s of a poorer quality because that’s more likely to be true.

Bad charting doesn’t particularly mean that the song is bad in terms of quality. I liked the song, but I find some of their other tracks better.

I would say maybe the song didn’t appeal to the general public, and also bad timing.

It wasn’t promoted well either, all of them had to quarantine, and then some members got hurt as well. They barely had proper two weeks of promotions, plus barely any appearances on variety show as well.

RTL was released at the wrong time. They were gng against brave girls. So digitally it didn't do that well compared to rwy. Also they had to go into qurantine and their whole promotion schedule was super messed up. So by the time they were done with quanrantine, they had lost some momentum. But svt is one of the boy groups that does well digitally, so it wasn't a complete flop.

Boy groups usually tank on the charts, SVT is no exception.

Song quality sometimes matters, but when a consistently good act like SVT isn't doing numbers on the charts, it's the public that's not giving them the time of day.
