From what I know, Japanese people appreciate when foreigners wear Yukatas and Kimonos. Maybe Koreans do too.

I don't know anymore. I remember when I wore an hanbok for a con because I was cosplaying as a character in a drama. I thought I was going to get called out for cultural appropriation. I didn't wear it to make fun I love their culture and the dresses are beautiful so I wanted to wear one.

From my experience and my own culture, people of continent of Asia do not have problems with others wearing their cultural clothes in an appreciative way.

In Asia in general, outsiders following your culture is seen as a triumph, like huh they like my culture and tradition better than their own.

Lol CA sometimes can be a bit ridiculous. Here in Indonesia locals would love it if foreigners wear our clothes like batik or some traditional clothing because we simply think that foreigners can appreciate our culture and clothing.

Yes, absolutely! Koreans will love you if you wear hanbok. They don’t think of it as cultural appropriation, and see it more as a cultural victory. (as long as you don’t say hanbok comes from your country)

Like others said, most Asian countries love when foreigners wear their traditional clothes. Of course the ones that are related to religion and must be respected are a no no but clothes are usually ok. As long as it’s an appreciation, we love it.

Yeah as others have said, Asian people don't mind foreigners wearing their clothes so it's probably okay.

I bought cute modern hanbok for my 3 years old daughter. One of my guild member is Korean so I asked about is it okay if non-Korean wearing it. He said it's okay, as long as we don't mocking their traditional outfits and so on.
