People need to calm down about the GP999 group.

The scores are posted in another thread and looking at it (assuming it’s legit-I wouldn’t know since I don’t follow the show and only read about it here) even if the votes were weighted 1:1 for Korean & international voters Bahiyyih would still debut. She would be no. 1 if the voting weight is 1:1.

She had the 2nd highest score for Korean votes and the highest for international votes. As pointed out by one user- she was the only one to break 500k votes on the international side.

I'm ok with the weighting if the group is promoting mostly in korea. In hindsight, only allowing 1 vote veered Korean voters to Korean contestants though. I'd fix this with ranked choice voting of your top 9.

While YWY3 had international voting, I suspect the vast majority of voting was Chinese (anyone know how mainland vs international voting turned out?). It's sorta unfair for Korean votes to get diluted that much unless you're going to promote in China and Japan pretty equally. They'll get more chances to promote in Korea.

Maybe it's just me but I've barely seen anything out of The9 or BG303.
