i think The Album was the most quality album in a while, and it offers diversity while cohesively they still have that Blackpink vibe

It was great strategy to start the era with a hype song like HYLT then to a english collab Ice cream (though i think Bet U wanna could've fare better) and finally a melancholic song that is very korean-ish (and YG-ish) closer to their root.

What they could have done is followed up the era with extended promotion with pretty savage since the reception was so well

Bangers might be easier to go viral / trendy but they tend to fall off faster. there's a reason why AIIYL and LSG are the longest charting songs

Aiiyl is their best song but I consider lsg comes in 2nd. Maybe together with stay.

I would disagree with their Pink side being superior, but that's your opinion. I love both of their sides, maybe there are just some songs I don't jam to as much as I do with others. But yeah, there's been too many 'black' concepts recently.

AIIYL > LSG

In my opinion anyway Also I think AIIYL was what BP needed to ABSOLUTELY blow up with D4. I guess LSG was more of a fresh start for them, so I lowkey feel they'll go a somewhat new direction from now on. Let's see if that is true with their 20xx comeback
