Today i came across winner Mino and Seungyoon are holding in person and online concert in november in Seoul. Yay! But that reminded me BTS cooncert is in LA in November too. Why didn't they hold first post covid offline concert in korea. i have heard k-armys are upset at BTS because they give more improtance to int fans.
Winner have in person concert in Seoul in November so why is BTS holding their first in person concert in LA?

Because the US is filled with rich fans who will travel from every state to LA and sell that giant stadium out 4 times over and people will pay scalper prices of thousands of dollars over asking to see BTS.
Also proximity for Coldplay, Halsey, Megan The Stallion and Becky G to drop in during the concert

No. korean fans are more dedicated than western fans. They buy huge number of albums to get nto fanmeets. Also holding the concerts in Seoul will be much cheaper for bts than movng their staff to another far away country. it's not about money. i think bts do give more importance to western fans now.

Hadn't thought about that, but you make an excellent point. I think if there were any performances on stage with the artists you mention, it would really be an epic moment.

Because they want to.

Or perhaps it's because BTS has more fans in the US than in Korea?

So is the current situation more beneficial for domestic fans in mid-sized fandoms? They actually get to see their favs perform.

VeriVery is going to LA and a few other cities for an in person concert as well starting in december. I really hope everyone stays safe, but i mean, i'm not against it if all the safety measures are taken, people can't just live online forever, gotta start somewhere. Lately here in Vegas, people are required to show proof of vaccinations at least a week prior to an event before being allowed in, I think it's a good way to try to get people to get vaccinated who won't/haven't done it. Maybe it's easier to start in the u.s.? I'm not sure what the reason could be, but hopefully if it goes well they can go other places!

Are we really trying to start the "BTS don't care about Korea" narrative when they just came back from representing the whole nation as diplomatic envoys at the UNGA or am I reading this wrong?

I've heard that LA has very strict covid guidelines for concerts, and can people even play Jamsil right now?
-
This just proves my point about LA being strict about concerts. My question was about Jamsil in Korea.

I wouldn’t call that strict though, this is like the status-quo of every western country. I think Korea is much more stricter than the US due to problems with the vaccination campaign and supply

It’s because concerts in big venues are allowed here now. Of course, all attendees are required to show proofs of vaccination and wear masks. SoFi stadium has a capacity of 70,000 attendees and BTS are (for now) doing a 4 day concert series. The same is not the case in S.Korea where the big venues are still not open. When they do, I’m sure BTS will hold concerts there. In the meantime, ARMYs are hoping that they will add more dates to the LA one because there’s obviously not enough for all the ARMYs/fans who wants to get one.

I got money to save and tuition to pay, sadly no.
But maybe the next concert, they will definitely tour next in the US so
