I think it's just that boys usually are more interrested by composing/write their own songs?
We still have girls who compose and release their songs but I just have this feeling we hear more about guy interrested and really trying to compose. Per example, I know that in YG, many boys who ended to be able to release their songs on albums tried to release them more 100 times (even LC needed 2 years before be accepted and released) and some even slept with their computer (where they were composing their songs). While, I see many girls mostly interrested to be actress next or in fashion industry?
But yet, it must depend of agencies?
TL;DR: I think most of boys are just more active composing songs than girls and girls who are active usually end to be able to release their own songs too.

I wouldn’t say more freedom but more opportunities and are taking more serious within the music industry. Unless you talk about gender different treatment that is rooted in sexism. Then yes.
Also when it comes to producing Boys in general seem to be more interested then Girls since it has a lot to do with computer knowledge, according to statistics.

I think they have an easier time than girls. Just the weight issue, there's none with the boy groups. Unless you go into Shindong territory, and EVEN THEN Shindong's spot in Super Junior was not really in jeopardy.
Boys also don't have to deal with uncomfortable outfits too much. They don't have to stick to revealing outfits when it's winter and the temperature drops.

Controversial opinion, I feel that guys in general seem to be more interested in writing and composing? Of course I might be wrong and the fact that there are more guys than girls writing and composing might be due to years and years of misogyny in the music industry so maybe that is the real reason.
Honestly I wouldn't know, and you wouldn't know either, unless you actually conduct a research with actual statistics and results and formulate an actual hypothesis in your research. If not, everything we say here is mere speculation.

I don't do research :) . I just bring the topic because of many GG seen uncomfortable with their outfits. The music-related issue just a filler
