You know, for the climate change. The world looks like dont care enough to make a radical change in our life style. And for what i know the consequences will be more dramatic when the time pass. So, for my is a big no. Mmm, maybe if i become rich and i have enough money to live whatever i want, then having kids looks like a posibility. How about you?

Yes. Yeah climate change is fucking us up but then again there are lots of problems in the world already like war, crime, poverty etc and people are still soldering on trying to live their lives and that includes having a family. Might as well try to live how you want in the meantime particularly if you live decently well off/in peace instead of giving into fear.

The world is already like that though. In the last few years we seen multiple genocides/cleansings go on with nothing done about it, many people even in rich countries have struggled with jobs and income, fucking covid, natural disasters and so on. Climate change is going to worsen things but we are already having significant problems right now but still people are having kids. I don’t people will stop when even when we reach the point of no return for the climate.

Luckily I've already had a child, a daughter 19 and she is all I ever wanted or needed. In 2002 when I had my daughter, terrorism reigned and now it is COVID ( a new type of terror). I'm glad she's an adult and has finished school but I do worry what her future looks like. I've already lived half a century of my life so am glad I won't have to see the way this poor planet is going to end up with climate change, viruses etc. I feel sorry for the kids born today.

There will always be some sort of crisis in the future, some sort of thing that is threatening the existence of mankind. If people had decided to stop having kids because they were afraid of it, the human race would have died out long ago.
The true wonder of humans is how resilient we are. We either adapt to our environments or make those environments adapt to us. Either way, we find a way to survive.
