  • Let's be clear if believing in religion doesn't mean believing in church institutions in terms of priests etc. then yeah I believe.

But after all those pedophile/gay scandals in the catholic church, I'd rather sleep well on Sunday than go to church.

  • My family members have always been Christian and I now live in a predominantly Christian neighborhood. Growing up I always believed in what I was taught without fail, but in college I had to take a step back and question things for myself. After a lot of thinking, I realized I truly believe in God. So my beliefs were the same in the end. I still practice Christianity, I actually just finished reading my Bible before logging on lol.

  • I was baptised in an Anglican Church but my parents were atheists. I did have a Christian faith when I was younger, but lost it after my grandmother had breast cancer. I do still maintain some Christian views today though.

  • I'm a lapsed Roman Catholic although since last month, I've been attending mass. Part of it is just to have some scheduled routine and an excuse to get out of the house.

I was planning on volunteering on any charity work as part of my new year's resolution but everything's still on hold due to the pandemic. I was a volunteer 15 or so years ago but as an encoder/IT guy in the church rectory for a few months when I was between jobs. I still wouldn't consider myself back to the fold but I'd gladly help on any charity project the local church may have.

  • Parents are different religions. Dad is hardcore religious, my mom is moderate in comparison. Raised under my dad's religion, never actually believed in either, and never actually believed in god. I was the kid that just knew santa claus wasn't real and just straight up asked my parents for money when I lost a baby tooth because I knew there was no tooth fairy. The entire concept of deities has always just seemed outlandish to me. I also can't relate to the desire to be told how to live my life by an institution and/or people who didn't even know what germs were when they were alive. I already know how to be a good person on my own.

Pind Daan in Gaya :- This is the Hindu conviction that after the passing, soul of person actually stay in this materialistic world. Because of the deficiency of body ( because of death ) somebody can not disengage himself/herself from this world. The draw of Love, thoughtfulness, fondness for his/her family, companions, family members and so on and the liking for the materialistic world forestall him to go for the outrageous and extreme flight. Accordingly, being an immaterial express that man (without body) gets torment. He needs to do numerous things yet can not. They can not or even don't have any desire to make themselves liberated from this materialistic world. 'PINDA DAAN' as indicated by Hindu Belief Gives them an extreme alleviation and makes ready for their takeoff to a definitive universe of Peace.

  • I don't, specially after studying the bible history when I was being trained for minister. Cool and rich history, but hard to conciliate with my idea of deity with the content of the book.

I was still going to church time to time, but I stopped with the pandemic and I may not return after it.
