Hand mic by far. The sound is clearer.

Encores mics for example. Some groups like yg groups keep their own mics sometimes which are better quality. And even if they get handed a hand mic they have it on high volume(probably instructed to). Quality of mics can make a lot of difference.

Hand mikes are already domes (that means that the transistor is facing their mouth instead of being perpendicular like headsets are). They capture the full voice and unless you are a very good singer you can't hide behind them like you can with transistor mikes.

I don't want a full choreo song with heavy dance to hear it live.
They will just be out of breath most of the time.
A really nice ballad? Sign me up for clear vocals.
Otherwise I'd want the backing track and some vocals from time to time.
Unlike most people I know exactly how hard it is to speak whilst dancing, let alone sing.
Definitely hand mic, it looks and sounds better. Ofc, if it's a heavy choreo, then a headset is better.
