But a few Hundred new Fans is not going to change their Standing or Fate in the very competitive Kpop Music Industry all that much
If their company was thinking of locking them in the Dungeon until their contract ran out or even disbanding them, this maybe buys them one extra comeback than they would have gotten otherwise, maybe a slightly higher budget for the next Music Video? it wouldn't be a huge career changing difference is all I am saying

I think Cherry Bullet is the only group that will rise in popularity, and I think it will be significant.
Fanatics label is a hot mess so they probably won't get very popular. I'd be surprised if they even made a comeback.

No, more like both groups continue. I'm not sure how long GP999 group will last and when they will disband but they can't be in both groups. It will have to be when GP999 disband then they return to their original group.
For example, the entire Nu'est went to Produce S2 and only 1 member made it to Wanna One. The remaining promoted as Nu'est W while waiting for Wanna One contract to end and then they promote back as OT4.
For reference, before Produce Nu'est were selling less than 50k. After Produce and when they promote as OT4, they sold over 150k, some even in the 200k++ range
