  • yk im always hesitant to talk about this bc whenever I say shit about how weird and borderline podophilic this is people bring up taemin and jk like i give a shit, these mfs shouldn't have debuted at such young ages either. its honestly disheartening that child labor and exploitation is so widely accepted around the world. this isnt even as bad as it can get, dance moms was also a show about kids in entertainment and it was straight up abuse. im just so jaded atp, no one cares about kids to the point where a kid hater like me thinks its fucked up

    it is fucked up.

And people should stand up to it.

But we don't live in SK and we are not Korean.

    Shit is fucked anyway.

  • maybe this is why they've hired doctor ahjumma? I saw article she is some kind of psychologist or something, and tv personality as well

  • Guys the 18+ idol thing is never happening, y’all gotta let that dream go lol. And age isn’t gonna make someone immune to the horrible stuff in the industry, especially when it’s a much bigger risk for adults who give up everything to become an idol while a teenager could go on it, and if they flop they still got school to go back to

  • Lol, the youngest is 11 y.o.?

    P. S. Seems that this show is not really popular.

Naw it’s just not that talked about cuz it’s a non-Mnet show. This is gonna get better ratings since it is on public TV, so when it actually starts airing then it’ll rise. Just like how it was for LOUD

    Nah mate, I get it.

The whole purpose is to see all ages work their arses off.

But 11 year old? That is a bloody travesty.

    I'd say 15 at most.

even then debuting in a group is different from going through survival shows

The originator of these survival shows called them soft porn for men

Looking at this and FNC's new show they are literally targeting the creeps and they are not even hiding it

  • They’re not targeting older men, or at least that’s not vibe this show is getting

Despite what the PD said in the past for P101 and how that def makes him look suspect with an all teen show, the host of this program is a woman & despite it being a “schoolgirl” concept, they’ve yet to wear anything aside from what looks girl crush like

Also the winning team is apparently gonna become an MBK group. As shitty as MBK is, they don’t seem to have a history of doing anything weird with underage idols, maybe I’m wrong tho

Korea doesn’t have a history of debuting minors as idols and the fanbase being male to my knowledge unlike Japan. I don’t know if Japanese men are going to be the main supporters of who is Princess because the girls aren’t doing cute concepts but going for girl/teen crush which isn’t even popular in Japan but in Korea anyways.

MBK history is shit, I'll give you that. And I'll also give you the underage weird thing.

    But mate, be honest here.

    12 year old female idol?

We already are having a 12 year old male idol debuting with that Loud whatever.

    It's too much mate.

  • Tbh it really depends. Wonyoung was 13 going on 14 and she debuted in IZ*One just fine. Same with Treasure having a bunch of 13/14 year olds when they were revealed

Koki on the other hand is a pretty bizarre case, cuz he looks like a whole kid

    So yeah imo it depends

I mean yeah, they have that whole year plus going on.

But it's still weird to me.

But meh, not my culture so I can't really say much about it.
