I mean I get their intentions cos they are a company and they will look forward to expanding their profits by debuting global groups, but there is no BTS 2.0. No one will be their second version. Just like there is no Beatles 2.0 or Michael Jackson 2.0.

He's been there since 2010. He came up with the idea for Bangtan Bombs, for example.

I get that people dont like him and he comes off as exaggerating their "formula" a lot, but when they have expanded on what they do differently from other kpop companies, they have mostly pointed out treating artists respectfully and focusing on music.

Wasn't TXT promoted or known as BTS' little brother? isn't that what they're trying to do in the US now (at least that is what I understand)? Why keep trying to make groups from the beginning to replicate BTS' success if they haven't make their current group big first? All they are doing is talk.

oh Lenzo and his formula . That dude and his delusions of grandeur are one continuing saga. They just can't accept how his company got extremely lucky to land on BTS members.

If there was a "winning formula" ,his other groups would have been a fraction as succesful as BTS.

While I understand that a company trying to replicate Bangtan success (because who wouldn't?), I on the other hand believe that Bangtan is a once in a lifetime group! I really don't care much how HYBE managed their company, I just want fair treatment and what Bangtan deserves be given to them! After all, most of the company's success was from Bangtan!

They can try to replicate BTS as much as they want, BTS are unique.

Also according to that billboard article where they revealed that not all members wanted to sing in English there was also stated that Lenzo was the one who 'proposed the video engagement idea and managed the operation from early on', so dude apparently knows what he's doing and have some ideas. But I really dislike him from that award where he pushed himself in the middle of BTS when they were photographed (the vid in op). Like, who tf are you and why do you think anyone wants to see your face?...

I definitely do agree with twitter commentor you cannot replicate BTS, their story is way too unique and the 'cinderella' kind of thing in their success is also part of that success, it's not smth anyone can copy just look at kpopies and them trying to push underdog story about every their fave. But also they're not building 2nd BTS, it's not really what's stated in title (I haven't read the article itself), they're building new group riding on BTS success and that definitely can work.

Big Hit/Hybe have always said before that they know BTS’ success was an anomaly and they couldn’t recreate it as they didn’t know what the formula was in the first place… except for allowing more creative freedom.

Not really into the US band idea, but it won’t do anything to BTS so whatever.

Deep down even hybe knows that there's no formula and they cant replicate bts' success.
