the cheating per se is usually not the major problem...
the problem is why the person cheated in the first place
breakdown of communication, lack of trust and respect? honesty?
by entering into a relationship (assuming it's not an open one) binds you to some form of social contract with that other person with implications that one is to remain faithful to that person
uh yes it is a big deal period unless your relationship isn't monogamous
It’s a big deal for the couples or the person cheated on… but it’s literally also their business that should be solved among themself.

if you cheat on someone 1. Your nasty 2. Your a terrible person. People who cheat are really stupid. You are married yet you want to have sex with another person, how nasty of you. If you want to be with that other person go and break up with your girlfriend or boyfriend. Don't be an ass and cheat on them. It is so disrespectful to cheat. It is a huge deal. And the fact that so many people cheat nowadays just proves my point that no one is loyal in this day and age.
It’s a big deal in my own life and personal relationships, not for some actor or singer or writer or artist I don’t know.
It's a big deal for the people involved in the relationship/cheating not anyone else.
I got co-workers who cheat on their partners and while I would never date any of them it's not my place to "punish" them for it. I'm not going to go to HR and demand they fire my co-worker for their personal life nor am I going to ask for an apology for something I was not involved in.

What other people do is none of my business.
If they are someone close to me and would want my opinion, I'll state my opinion, respectfully and ask why did it happen, what caused it, if it's something that's been occuring a lot or just once etc.
I only suggest when going into relationship to make sure you're on the same page with the other person and you think about your relationship in the same way.
my morals wont let me stan a cheater but depending on where ad how a person was raised, they have different feelings about cheating
some people have gotten used to it and think of it as normal, i think of it as scummy behaviour.
personally, and i'll say it again, if you feel like cheating, break up.
there are no mistakes. if you consent to it its cheating, if you dont youre a victim.
