Nah Bro the pinks can just tune out the noise & live in the future where they've already put out their new shit into the world lol
this year is the most dry year I have ever experienced in my life, its not just kpop even movies video games are so dry this year.
I don't why people are saying this year when we're only halfway. Yeah, there were bad releases but every year is like that. Cmon now, not only did GG releases surprise me as a non gg stan, but the bg's didn't do too bad either. We have more comebacks to come anyway.
To actually answer the question being as unbiased as possible, I think it was 2020 except for a select few gems.
This year probably too.
Probably this year or 2017 ?
This year. I've never listened to many western songs past years, but this year kpop songs are really meh, I only liked very few (
Firstly, 2015-2018 music was GOLD.
2019, K-Pop underperformed because there were so many bad things happening. It was the year for soloists. But the music that year was quite nice, I enjoyed TWICE, RV, ITZY, and BTS music a lot.
2020, K-Pop went back on track success-wise, but there were too many similar songs, mostly girl-crush so it was boring. But yeah some songs were decently good and some were big ass bops. Actually I discovered 2gether The Series last year so I was mainly interested in Thai Pop.
2021, THIS IS THE YEAR. My goodness, until now there were no releases that made an amazing impact on me besides Alcohol-Free and Permission To Dance. Butter, On The Ground, and Hwaa were decent. Some other comebacks were either meh or didn't have a long-lasting "effect". I feel like this year has been meh.
2019 for me.
last year was definitely the worst year to me.
Well the pandemic isn't really nice but I am kind of used to this because this pandemic kpop experience is the only kpop experience I know since I am a pretty new kpop fan. I stanned during the pandemic.
its for people aged 14 and up
So does that mean I can use it?
2021, honestly. I haven't been truly excited for comebacks other than Twice and Red Velvet. I've been checking out most songs I've had knowledge of releasing just for it but they don't really excite me that much. They're not bad songs but I just find the majority of comebacks this year boring...
