Which hit is more unexpected : GROWL vs LOVE SCENARIO

Love Scenario was more surprising and really big.

Love Scenario, Winner had more gp appeal than Ikon. Tbh when Growl was released I was more into SNSD than kpop in general, so I can't remember well, even knowing that it is a national hit.

I find GROWL more surprising, during that time I remember how bad they are drag because of WOLF. I really did not expect that their next song to be that huuuge.

lol Love scenario doing great was not surprising, their previous two releases not doing good was more surprising... People forget that Ikon had a very massive debut hit, My type was huge that time I remember them killing the whole rookie competition (that included twice, gfriend, seventeen, monsta x, omg and more) and going #1 on charts...

growl was the first actual Big hit song that Exo had while that wasnt the case for Ikon..

Ikon had shown their digital potential with My Type.

Growl. Given the hype that SM had put into EXO, they really weren't doing well. Mama wasn't that strong of a debut, and neither of their pre-releases (What is Love and History) did well either. Wolf was ridiculed. And then Growl came out of nowhere and suddenly made them a million seller.

iKon had already had two number one hits before Love Scenario. It's potentially a bit surprising just how much Love Scenario blew up, but it's not surprising that it did.

Growl because people were saying EXO was SM's first flop group and they went on to reach arguably the biggest national hit from a boy group ever.

iKON debut has always done exceptionally well on the charts, so the fact that they released a megahit was not super surprising.
