not really. There are plenty of idols that are considered visuals, but I just can't bring myself to like them because they are so basic or come off as fake.

I'm guilty of this. I'd she's hot, I'll forgive certain transgressions. HOWEVER, if the woman is an absolute **** then I'm at my limit. Truth be told though, I can be a bit of a prick myself

For me, looks are very important as they are very telling of how one presents themselves, most of the time. But it's a lot more complicated than just simple looks.

No. I think if if someone is really good looking but turns out to have a shitty personality it irritates me even more.

It's like false advertising.

that's why (IRL not idols) when people say I don't care about looks i prefer personalities I'm like you're not going to give every person a shot to determine their personality therefore looks must matter somewhat in order for you to begin the first step of determining their personality...

Good looks does score on things and people being judged even at next level assessments.

Trade offs of what people expect and appreciate.

Visuals aren’t everything and cannot compensate for an attractive personality imo. Not all attractive faces have attractive personalities.

maybe this is me being shallow.. but I like I don't know a lot about nct's jaehyun but because he's attractive I don't really care. I guess that means I prefer visuals over personality. obviously if someone was a terrible person I wouldn't support them but sometimes someone can have the most annoying personality but I allow it because their pretty. :confused:

Sometimes if someone is conventionally attractive and their personality is annoying, I start to become annoyed by their good features. Like why are you good-looking when you're such a trash-type thing? Good looks make the fact that they can get away with being trash, that annoys me more than if they were not pretty/handsome

Jaehyun is a nice guy, he is caring and chill.
