Another controversial opinion(even more controversial)

Not attacking any certain group, but sometimes "unfair" line distribution happens because some members just can't sing/rap very well. If you want the song to sound good, especially when performed live, you have to use the members who can actually pull it off I don't believe the majority of "unfair" line distributions are actually unfair and actually think it's more fair to give the talented members more lines
Imagine if you worked your ass off and perfected your work but your boss gave you and a mediocre coworker the same promotions and recognition in the name of "fairness." Those who do better should get better

I don't get it when people get mad the main vocalist or main rapper gets more lines. Like of course they do. That's why they're in that main position. Like I've never seen anyone complain when one of the main dancers is at the center for the dance break* so why do people get mad when the main vocal has the most lines?
I also think sometimes people only look at title tracks. Sometimes their voice just doesn't work on a track but you will hear them all over the b sides. For example Lee Know on God's Menu only had a small amount of lines, but is very well represented through the rest of the album.
*Okay I totally have seen that but it's often when the main dancer is also a main vocal/rapper/face of the group.

For real. It's really sad to the members, but as the user above you said: it's bc they are less talented or the song doesn't match their voices.

Exactly.
Taking SVT as an example, when they were in their early debut days, some members used to sing few lines on titles, but since they have a 3-unit concept and lots of songs are not even sung by the entire group, these same members received a fair amount of lines on b-sides (even their own tracks later, like My I by The8 and Jun).
For sure their line distribution on titles is currently one of the most balanced I've seen, especially for a + 10-member group, but the things get a lot interesting when you consider b-sides.

Line distribution should be decided by skill. There's no reason why a subvocalist that made the group because of their dancing or visuals should get as many lines as a main vocalists. It's unfair to demand equal distribution unless all the members are equally skilled vocalists.
I don't know anything about Loona so this is not directed at them.

Because when a member is singing they most likely will be on the center in the MV and during performances. Basically they just want more screen time for their faves with no regards to the quality of the song and how the line distribution affects it.
Sorry to people who stan WG here but things like this shouldn't be allowed to happen when the group has 2/5 perfectly capable vocalists

This is actually very true. Some receive fewer lines because they arent that good compared to the others. And I feel like they know it. (at least my fave does and acknowledges it). She even said that she is not confident with her voice. Back in the day every time she has a vocal/singing lesson. She would broke down into tears.
And I think people should stop attacking members that get more lines. Because its just stupid and probably cause damage to the group that we dont see or realize.

Who is your fave?
It's a sad situation in which the members know why they get less lines, but fans reactions towards this just makes things worse sometimes...
