i mean a lot of groups debut together and still don't get along so uhhh

But with not getting along I’m talking more about their personalities constantly clashing with each other.
Personal equations do play a factor in some jobs, especially in those where it’s necessary to work in smaller teams, new recruits will not only be tested on their skills but also teamwork. If they can’t get a long with the team, there is a high chance that they will not get the job after their probationary period.

You can get better at dancing, singing, etc... but if you have a overwhelming personality and clash with other constantly, there is no real 'training' that can be done by the company. They are not going to invest time and money in someone who might or might not leave the group after a few months because she can't seem to get along with the others.
If you are immensely favored, the company might make an exception and just build the group around you. But if you are a normal trainee, you will need to learn to compromise and respect the others.

Not for smaller companies.
They would expect the members they have chosen to work on their relationships or at least make it look like they're good friends and team mates on camera.
As long as they are nice to staff and work hard and follow the rules, I don't see why they would kick them out of the line up.
I was about to say some groups who only work together and refuse to do anything outside of album promo together have lasted a while.

Good relationship doesn't exclude a co-worker relationship.
Being a co-worker doesn't mean that you don't hang out sometimes and that you don't get along, it just means that you aren't "best friends" who spend most of their time together and talk non-stop to each other.
I think of Brown Eyed Girls' explaining their relationships among themselves. They see themselves as business partners and don't interact socially, in their personal lives. Even if you don't get along, I assume it'll be fine to be in a group together so long as you are not actively sabotaging one another.
But I do prefer them, as a fan, to be friends or, at least, on friendly terms, of course.
I’m sure that has happened before. Not necessarily with BP, I know Lisa and Miyeon still have a good relationship anyway!
They did say they were the four who usually hung out together though.
On the flip side, I am sure you have group members who did get on but then fell out after debut due to petty jealous and stuff. It’s no guarantee that groups will all get along. Same with any job!
