Changed the title of the thread from “Would you survive a zombie apocolypse?” to “Would you survive a zombie apocalypse?”. -
what is this zombie apocalypse team you speak of?????
more information please
-
But if a zombie apocalypse happens and it gets out of control, it'll be the end of everything so they'll be no point in fighting because we know we're going to lose anyway.

Well… I’m always looking for recruits if worse comes to worse. xx-jenn-xx is definitely on it by default because I trust her with my life, but applications are open for anyone interested.

and uh what does this team encompass????
what kind of benefits do we get?
health insurance??? I mean one would definitely need some health insurance during the zombie apocalypse

no. i'd give up on the first day and offer myself willingly. i'm going to die either way, why suffer for no reason, why delay inevitable

Health insurance: Yes
Paid leave: Yes
Basically, the only requirements are that you are good at; combat and foraging/hunting. Being able to cook and start a fire is a plus.
Like I said, I only got one person so far, but I'm hoping to get at least four more when the time comes.

R.I.P you will be missed.
Appreciate the honesty though.

I swear though half the people in The Walking Dead die because they stop listening or looking, like please the zombies walk, just walk slightly faster.
And stop trying to kill them with short range knives, copy Michonne and get a Katana.

But zombies have no souls! There's a difference

Thinking seriously, it depends on the type of zombie. I'm in a very populated area, so it would be full of zombies. I will assume it is kinda like I Am a Hero type of zombie: fast, strong, and hard to kill type with some level of problem solving skills.
On the other hand, my place could be easily barricaded. I have access to firearms and there are some places I could procure firearms and even some body protection (there is a store specialized in selling stuff to security forces close by). There are lot of places to scavenge for canned food and there are a public garden nearby as well. There is a home depot nearby too, so supplies like batteries or even a generator could be procured.
However, if there are too many survivors, resources would run out pretty fast. Cities are constantly supplied, so once shipments stop, everything would break down pretty fast. Water would be a problem in the long run. There is a lake kinda close with some birds if these don't get zombified.
My handyman skills are average. I can do some small plumbing and electric repairs and makeshift some stuff reasonably OK. I don't require much food and I tolerate pain well. I'm pretty thin and tall, so I would have reach and I'm a fast runner overall. My evasion would suffer. I'm weaker than I look as I weight too little for my height. Overall my stats would be not too bad.
The human factor could go bad pretty fast as there are lot of gangs around the area I live, so faction wars over resources would be more of a problem than the zombies.
So after seeing all these factors, if it depended just on me, I think I'd fare very well as I watched lotsa zombie movies and played lot of zombie games (from RE to indie games like They Are Billions), so that part is well covered
