I'm in a discord server and I feel like I see someone threatened to game end themselves once a week bc someone blocked them
Is being blocked a valid reason for a mental breakdown?

oh god...I don't think so..
-
depends on how dependent they are on that discord connection.
its some major red flags anyways.
If you're not directly involved, stay tf away. its not something that shakes easily.

sometimes there's more to a story than appearances and it's hard to be fair about a situation if you're only hearing one side.
it's best to keep the past in the past and move on.
being blocked from someone who you felt a connection to can really be traumatizing to a lot of people. sometimes this takes the form of unhealthy obsession from both sides so it's necessary to take a step back and reevaluate where your real priorities are.
what's the balance? what's the bottom line? do you really want to be around someone who blocked you?
are they worth fighting for or are you holding onto the idea of a person who no longer exists?
so answer is situational and depends on the person.
it's an unkind world and no one wants to feel alone. hopefully that person can find a healthy way to cope and heal.

Not good enough for the reason

idk i have been blocked alot by close friends and it hurt. sometimes it would be over something dumb so i would overthink. but i never got that messed up.
-
for some people its hard for them to get over which leads to the mental breakdowns
but in my case i just laugh it off and continue with my day

I blocked somebody for a reason, then ended up unblocking them because of their feelings. It's not enough to end it all, nothing is enough to end it all ,it still can hurt a lot though.

maybe being blocked was the straw that broke the camel's back...

My friend had something like a mental breakdown when he learned that he had multiple sclerosis. He was very worried and stressed. The vicar prescribed him tecfidera therapy to help prevent the disease from developing and free of symptoms. He has the initial stage so it's not so scary. I spent a lot of time with him to stop him worrying. We often walked on the street, went to the movies and shopping malls. He already feels better. So if you don`t want to experience depression, stress or mental breakdown, I advise you to spend more time with friends and family

Discord is a scary place...I moderate what servers I'm on and the people I talk to because it's easy to edit and harder to report people.
