10 years ago, I had a big crush on Buono! , a J-Pop girl trio with rock elements. They were pretty successful and even added a live band to play on stage during concerts.
Scandal, a solid all-girl rock band.
Also, Babymetal. A j-pop group that started out as a meme and evolved into a legitimate act with the addition of a live band.
A few days ago I've found out about the Wagakki Band. They're just amazing.
Also, YUI. I don't like everything but she has good songs.
And last but not least, Church of Misery.
