I think the pronunciation is supposed to be more like Sulgi, so I pronounce it that way.

It's hard to write out in English because English doesn't always convey the right tones. Case in point, I'm not sure how to read what you wrote and I'm from the US (with Viet roots, which is why I'm even considering tones).

Probably the later, because to me, the eu in Feuer is a completely different sound. I pronounce Feuer as foy-ya
