It's shocking BLACKPINK hasn't won a grand prize daesang

Reasons:

1. No attendance.

2. When they attend other contender have stronger chances to win for example at MMA 2018 Song of the year even tho DDU-DU DDU-DU was huge Love Scenario collected more points so it deserved to win.

None of their songs have been #1 on yearly charts like for example Cheer Up by TWICE

Your thinking as an I-FAN not a K-FAN. Daesang awards are Korean awards thus it matters much much more what the Koreans think and purchase not what international fans do. They have always been blocked in Korea but much more liked groups.

They havent qualified for any and they dont attend the attendance ones where the other non-BTS groups get daesangs these days.

Most of them are bought and paid for and usually give it to those that choose to attend. I wouldn't take them seriously. Very rarely do the best performing songs win those awards.

They don't need them, it's refreshing how their journey always be different and unlike other top groups yet still managed to achieve bigger things.

What did you mean by most really? The main daesang awards we know are from mma,gda,sma and mama. Mma and gda are really fair. Sma is also pretty fair. Only mama can be a bit controversial but these past two years they have been fair? Then which are those daesang awards that you were talking about?

Al the other groups go to those b-tier award shows and they get daesang like got7,NCT, twice, rv, mamamoo etc but yg never send bo there (even tho he send treasure to all of those)

BTS isn't stopping that. It's yg favoritism

1. attendance awards (aaa) - they don't attend

2. non-attendance awards (sma, mma, mama, gda, etc.) - either they don't fit criteria or there is tough competition
