Am I the only one annoyed with MR Removed videos?

those videos are fake af, they can harm or glorify any idols with that videos, i remember one youtuber made false mr removed video on bp to show them as bad at live singing

No I am not. 2021 and MR removed is already a nugu topic to discuss in kpop.

Heh, interesting. I thought that the whole MR debate and legitimacy/validity of MR's was already a relic from the past and that most K-pop fans have moved on from them, especially after the many fake outs and horrible MR editing. But apparently there's still some K-pop fans that value MR's?

Do you think that all those channels knows themselves if it's pre-recorded?

I'm not even sure if it's really possible to remove the vocals from the MR while keeping the vocals from the live singing.

It is just for people who always think they are vocal experts or professional musician to feel good about themself mocking groups they dislike

I think they say "clean" mr removed because removing the track create artifacts.

There is 2 way to remove the back track:

• A software that can isolate some parts of a track like Izotope RX. it's better for stages with minimal backtrack because it creates a lot of artifacts
• Phase cancellation : The track of the performance and the official studio track is inverted in phase, the result is the audio different from the studio track. Create less artifacts but if it's a live recorded backtrack it doesn't works.

Yep they are pretty pointless.

They suck and they don't prove anything. I believe anyone who actually takes them as a real proof of live singing is entirely clueless.

Same here, they just encourage stans to think that their faves eat CDs and poop CD player.

In short:

If MR Removed makes their faves sound decent: "See? Believe it!"
If it makes their faves look bad: "MR Removed is BS anyway"

I also dislike them for the same reasons. Most are also so poorly made that you can only hear whispers, cause they took out too much of the idols' voices.

There was that one channel which was doing amazing MR removed videos for Sketchbook performances (mic feed), but it got taken down a couple of months ago (it had SNSD's Mr. Mr. and TTS' Holler, Cater 2 U performances)
