Being tiny has advantages, though. Maybe he can sneak around without being caught, move into small spaces that the zombies can't get through, etc.

During a zombie apocalypse, you don't want to be fighting off zombies all the time. Food is scarce and hard to find. You want to preserve your energy as much as possible. If not, you'll wear yourself out before the zombies even get to you.
If you can, it's better to hide, climb, and build instead of fight. It's better to make traps and let the traps do the work for you. Use weapons to defend yourself from afar. It's about keeping your distance instead of actually fighting them face-to-face.

the key is as it states in the title is survival... unless you are milla jovavich with superpowers (resident evil) or something you aren't going to be constantly fighting
one needs to survive...find food, water, heat, shelter, fuel etc all those basisc that people tend to take for granted...
