too much comeback will kill the group's hype ?

It really depends on a lot of factors, but I will say no.

If the comebacks are bad, yes.

Not if the quality of the music is consistent. They can just build that hype into a good brand.

but if each comeback is with a banger then it will only elevate thr group. It all depends on the song /performance.

Personally for me, I will have lots of content so it's not a bad idea. For the public they need to have better or levelled up comeback one by one. The previous comeback should be a little bit bad compared to the next one so that people always enjoy the improved group.
