So many people have said even idols who know better than kpop fans have said it. At this point only kpop fans believe otherwise but luckily we don't need their approval.
Anyway. I noticed few Korean and even Japanese artists getting radio play in my nugu corner of the world. I think eventually BTS will pave they way for other Asian acts as well. I saw One OK Rock being played on the radio and Joji has been big on Spotify, bigger than any kpop act other than BTS. So hopefully it will not end up being only kpop.
