LOL...... just throwing this out there --- but does anyone think it's possible that NCT Dream will add new members i.e Sungchan and Shotaro ..idk if it's just me but I feel like there's been a lot of content SM seems to be pushing with sungchan and the other dream members..... they also seem to be possibly branding this current unit (with the original 7) as 7DREAM possibly paving the way for them adding new members and still using the NCT Dream tag.......... I think this would be a bad idea though as a lot of fans would be pissed...

SM has clearly said that Dream will be a special fixed unit. The special bit refers to the possibility Haechan and Mark might not always be able to promote with them. According to the statement, they WONT add other members.
Some people are speculating that the remaining 5 might be put into a new unit but I really hope that won't happen, Dream has one of if not the best dynamics in NCT and they're showing incredible potential so SM shouldn't mess with their lineup anymore. Putting 5dream in a new unit will only mean less 7dream comebacks.
As for Sungchan, he will probably be in the rumoured Japanese unit. He talked himself about learning Japanese before. He's probably being pushed to give the future unit visibility in korea while Shotaro and other potentially Japanese members will cover the Japan side of things lol.

I think those reports are made by investors and are an aproximation of what they think but they are not very accurate.
Being a full album under SM and with how much they sold... and knowing that the repackage is only adding like 3-4 songs more and how the MV for repackages tends to be a lot cheaper I think they are getting it. It's almost like another million sales secured knowing that Dream will be near 2M on Gaon.
Also the Dream members have already started to do weird gestures that seem like hints.
