Everything that has good script.
I voted everything except gore. I watched my fair share of gore movies but as I grew older I realized they were just not my thing. It's just too exploitative and shallow.
Pyschogical horror is good stuff when smart. It can bring the genre to new heights.
Slasher movies are mostly for fun. They shouldn't take themselves too seriously and not be too stupid either.
Monster movies can be pretty inventive with the creature designs and such.
Paranormal is my favorite; they're the scariest to me.

Psychological thrillers really mess with your mind as you watch them and they have a deeper meaning to them. That’s why I prefer them now.

It's more an issue with the quality of the movies you watched rather than the genre itself. To me, "paranormal" aka. ghost/haunted house stories is Ring, Dark Water, Ju-on The Grudge, etc. I don't watch these cheap ass American 'Paranormal' movies, lazy spin-offs a la Annabelle, The Nun, etc. The Conjuuring movies are ok though, they're efficient even though they use to show off a bit too much.

i like psychological ones the most, cus it has good plot twists & more realistic,
for gore i have recently watched one japanese anime Shouji Tsubaki it was really disgusting
gore movies are just disgusting its just very uncomfortable experience to me
at one point in time i was really obsessed with vampire & zombie movies and watched almost every zombie & vampire movies now got bored and i think these kind of movies already run out of ideas, i remember i was hella scared when i have watched fright night & 30 days of night when i was younger but now not scared anymore i wonder why
actually not a big fan of paranormal cus some movies just rely on jump scares
and ghost & stuff is very fictional so paranormal movies dont really leave much impact to me
but used to get scared when i was younger,
i have watched the japanese one Ju on, Ring i guess but those are really old movies so cus of the effect i didnt really get scared that much
i watch comedy slasher ones when i am bored purely for entertainment and when i am not in the mood to watch serious staff, non comedy ones are only great when there is enough suspense but most of the time everything just turns very expected & boring to me
also i am searching for one movie, i think it was gore, i only remember 3 friends i guess or maybe more trying to escape from underground i guess cus one mad person is trying to kill them, one of them was like hiding under something but like that crazy person is found her and like smiling i really dont remember nothing besides it

this one is live action and it isn't tagged as psychological on imdb but from what I can remember it definitely felt like a psychological movie

Not really. It's quite the opposite actually. Movies of today are getting lamer and lamer and recyle (badly) the same stuff over and over. There are exceptions of course, as always. But generally speaking, movie studios today are uninspired and too afraid to try something original.
