Did anyone know about this BLACKPINK logo before?

I'm just now seeing it and I was wondering what it meant on the BLINK fandom backgrounds like some allkill blinks have ( kittykitka for example)

superyeah showed us this symbol (below) and I'm like WHAT I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE

Maybe because it's less promoted than the banner symbol that usually shows up on BP content if any logo makes an appearance.

So does anyone know why this logo isn't used as much?

What's your theory on what it means? (I have a pretty good idea but I'm curious to hear what you think)

Are we going to see this logo more often or is it just an alternative or used for another purpose?

Ah, that explains it.

It's probably not official because I think that it would've been officially used, maybe a little more than the banner logo since it's short, sweet, and simpler while still getting the idea across.

I know how to make something like that but I don't know how I can move the blackpink letters up a bit since it might look a little messy if it stays centered with the bts logo...
